Other Procedures (Upper Limb)

Carpal Tunnel Decompression:
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (recurrent pins and needles affecting the thumb, index and middle fingers) is a common condition that is easily treated by a small operation that can be performed as a day case under local anaesthetic.

Tennis Elbow Release:
Tennis elbow is a chronic condition that causes pain over the outside of the elbow. In those patients where other simpler treatments have failed help is at hand with a minor operation that can be carried out a day case.

Subacromial decompression:
‘Painful arc syndrome’ is a disabling cause of pain in the shoulder arising from chronic irritation of the tendinous structures around the shoulder. Open surgery can be performed through a small incision with excellent cosmetic results.
